1950s Bungalow Kitchen & Living Room Extension

We transformed the tiny kitchen and tired living room of this 1950s bungalow in Chelmsford, Essex transforming them into spacious and social light-filled rooms fit for modern living.

Both the kitchen and living room were extended adding vaulted ceiling with Velux windows to the kitchen and a flat roof finished with fibreglass and a generous lantern in the living room. The rooms were given bifold doors to bring the outside in.

The project was finished with Monocuse to the external walls and an Indian sandstone patio was laid to complete the transformation.
